The world is getting hotter, right? And soon there will be ice, no snow (pretty much) anywhere. Right?
Well, some scientists out there disagree, and say just the opposite. There are many climatologists who now believe we are on the front edge of a 30-year cooling trend — and there is a good bit of evidence to back them up. In fall 2014, all 50 states experienced cooler-than-normal temperatures. And just a few years ago, all 50 states had some sort of snowfall – at the same time.
“All you have to do is trust natural cycles and follow the facts, and that leads you to the inevitable conclusion that the sun controls the climate, and that a new cold era has begun,” says climatologist John Casey.
Since the evidence is there, we should be preparing for the cooler trend. Cooler weather brings more problems than does warmer weather. Problems with heating, power grids, food shortages and even transportation can quickly add up. Being prepared for this ahead of time will help to ensure that you and your family are safe and have minimal problems.
